Paws for a Beat Center Benefit Concert

Sept. 19th Ice House Bethlehem

The Center for Animal Health & Welfare is looking for official sponsors for a September 19th, 2010 benefit concert. We’ve secured the Bethlehem Ice House, located at Sand Island, for the venue. The event will feature a variety of local bands, encompassing folk, country, rock, and pop genres.

Currently, we’re looking for a variety of sponsorship arrangements. The event will feature food, beverages, and activities. Donations toward the provisions and donations of food and beverages are needed. We are planning a gift basket raffle, based around local businesses and events. A basket containing gift cards, coupons, or gifts that highlight a certain business will be given away during a silent auction.

Finally, monetary donations to cover overhead will also be accepted. The venue provides a very reasonable price to not-for-profit organizations. $250 rents the location for the day, and a donation to cover this makes a business or organization a primary sponsor.

All sponsors will be able display their brochures or cards at a sponsors’ table, be included on the official sponsor list, and have their name recognized on the official Facebook website. Also, given the ability, volunteers for the day will be wearing shirts that feature listed sponsors. It’s an excellent chance for any local business to get their name behind a good cause and in front of a large, public crowd.

We are aiming for one primary sponsor from each branch of the business world. I.E., we will offer primary sponsorship to only one car dealership, bank, bakery, etc.

We are asking for secondary sponsors to provide a donation of $75 or a gift/basket valued at $75 or more. Primary sponsors can cover the venue cost; donate food, beverage, or monetary donations of $200 or more.

The Center for Animal Health & Welfare is a privately funded institution. We exist on the generosity of others, feeding and housing animals only through donations. We are a no kill shelter, believing every animal deserves a chance to live a happy life. Federal tax ID information and 501c3 status is available upon request.

Thank you for your time. For more information, e-mail us at LVAnimalConcert@hotmail.com or call 484-892-2849.

Sincerely,

Bethany Askey and David C. Lee
